I was looking for an attorney to help me sue the family court system (which I soon learned can't be done)... Mr. Stewart was not only knowledgeable about civil rights violations and discrimination areas of law, which I was inquiring about, but he was very knowledgeable about family law too, though he said it is not his main focus. .. Mr. Steward took the time to listen to my concerns and questions and explained to me in a way I could understand, without making me feel less than.
I was questionable when I saw the 5 star rating out with 13 reviews when I first came by his profile. However, after our phone consultation, I now know why! If I was the type of person to put my info online, I would leave my number so I could tell you about this top notch, polite, and super knowledgeable attorney! I was lucky enough to have Mr. Stewart become my attorney. Not only do his qualifications show in the court room, but he brings a little extra to the table. The Legal System Can Work...
I did something stupid that came back to haunt me years later when it should not have. My wife was pregnant and dealing with it was more than we need at that moment. But then there was Mr. Stewart who came in and was very honest with me. The D.A. wanted to give me a number of years in prison, a felony and a huge restitution fine to go along side. I went to court four times because the would not let me walk clean. Mr. Stewart then told them that I was not excepting any jail time and I was then cleared of any. The restitution payment was something that the D.A. would not let go of. At the end of the day my Lawyer was a lot better than the D.A. I walked away with no time and no fine. I am very grateful to my lawyer and though I do not plan on needing him in the same capacity, knowing that I have him on my side makes me and my family feel secure.
